An exclusive NSX Exploration Days. A formal 2-day training hosted by VMWare at the W Hotel from June 1st to June 2nd

The training was about getting prepared for network virtualization that includes technical sessions with a highlights on:
- NSX networking fundamentals
- Utilizing NSX to increase security
- Automating network infrastructure as part of a Software Defined Data Center

Nice training, great instructor, and a lot of information and hands on labs that enriched the training contents.

Cisco Servers Built for The Future event by Cisco & Salam technology at W Doha Hotel & Residences

The events emphasis Cisco's point of view on how to build your new data center and address today's and upcoming challenges, as I have attended the Next Generation Data Center event by Cisco & QCS later in January I found the presentation is just a repetitions of the last event with the different event name and sponsor as almost the same information was presented, it was a good information refreshment but I believe Cisco could done much better and introduce more information about the Data center and Cisco’s servers.

Think out of the 'Sandbox' event

Think out of the 'Sandbox' a nice event by Cisco & Mannai corporation Held at ST. Regis hotel. Was full of information about Cisco's point of view about advanced malware and advance persistent threat protection.

The event go through an informative presentation about: Threat landscape, Advanced malware protection, Upgrading the legacy protection systems into the new technology trends, and the SDN ready data center security.

I can consider this event as one of the most valuable events till now based on the content of the presentations and the professional and technical level of the presenters. 

HP Networking Workshop

A customized two days (13-14/3/2015) training workshop by HP held at Intercontinental Doha Hotel, the training was aiming to give CBQ network administrator the comfort and the knowledge to manage HP networking and to have a better view about HP networking portfolio. The training was valuable and introduced a good knowledge about HP networking portfolio along with deep discussion about interoperability between HP and Cisco networks.

The two days training covers the following topics along with a good associated hands-on labs:

Introduction to HP Networking - Comware family
Interoperability HP - Cisco
Intelligent Resilient Framework
Intelligent Management Center
Data Center Technologies

 F5 & Blue Coat event by Westcon Security & Mannai corporation held at Doha Marriott Hotel, A sessions and presentation through F5 and Blue Coat Security Product Portfolio introducing new ways to protect the entire network.
